When I brought home my first crested gecko, I was just like many keepers—excited, a little overwhelmed, and eager to learn. I reached out to the reptile community for advice, and those early experiences inspired a deep curiosity about genetics, care, and responsible breeding.
With a formal background in genetics and a passion for continuous learning, I dove into the science and practice of reptile breeding. I started my own breeding program, did extensive research, and learned firsthand how challenging it can be to find clear, trustworthy information and keep reliable records.
That’s why I created ReptiDex: to help both new and experienced keepers navigate reptile husbandry with confidence. My approach is grounded in science, shaped by real-world experience, and always open to community feedback and collaboration.
